Expressions Hope and Wish The expressions of hope and wish are
used to convey our hopes or wishes to others. |
1. Hope is used when you expect something which is
possible to happen.
Example :
v I hope you win the speech contest.
v I hope you will get the first rank.
v I hope you will pas the exam.
2. Wish is used to say something which is impossible
to happen or you have no controls to make it happen.
Example:
v I wish you were here.
v She wish her mother could pick her up.
v I wish you all the best
